Inci Erker Birsel was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. After completing her education, she returned to her Alma Mater, Izmir American Collegiate Institute (ACI), as an English teacher. Inci has been a full-time mother and a full-time cook for 38 years. She has always felt very lucky to have been able to combine the three things she enjoys most -- bringing up her children, teaching and cooking. This is the first collection of recipes she has compiled after her retirement from teaching. She hopes a new one will follow soon.
